Just do File %26gt; Save As

Then under the name of the file you will see a drop down save as type: Change to JPG..

Warning: paint isn't really equipt to handle this and there will be a lot of color loss.
Open the file in Paint. When you go to save it , click on 'save as'. Under the file name, there is an area where it says 'as type' (this will be saying .bmp), scroll in that bar and choose JPG.
I believe you can open the file, then goto file-%26gt;save as

when you get the save as dialog window make sure that the ';save as type'; drop down is ';JPEG';.
Open the photo you want to convert in paint. Click file, save as.. and then in the save as type box on the bottom, change to whatever format you want.
