How long does it take for acrylic paint to dry??????

please helpHow long does it take for acrylic paint to dry??????
Depending on the thickness of the paint and the surface you are painting on, acrylic paint should be dry to the touch in 1-2 hours. In some cases, it might dry in as little as 20min. You can add an extender medium to acrylic paint to make it dry more slowly if you are doing a painting where you want to blend the paint more. You can also use a fan or a hairdryer set on ';low'; to dry your painting even more quickly. How long does it take for acrylic paint to dry??????
72 hrs.
well about 1 min. on most things, just depends how much you put on your project. I use a blow dryer on my paintings, just because i like to hurry up and get it done.
2 hours to recoat and 8 hours to dry.

the difference between latex and acrylic latex is the drying time.
It takes only a few hours, if even that, depending on the thickness of the coat.

However, it will take a day or two to fully 'set', which means to dry in a hardened and final state.

The colors will change from their original brilliance and sort of sink in and get flat.

From there, you will need to re-work the picture either with more acrylics or, preferably, oils.
