I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS A CHEMICAL MABEY LIKE WILBOND THAT I CAN APPLY TO HELP THE PAINT ADHERE BETTERHow would i prepare a bothroom ceiling made of horsehair plaster to allow paint to adhere?
Yes there is. You can go to just about any hardware store such as Hope Depot or Lowes and get a bonding agent. Any drywall supply company which sells veneer plaster will also carry bonding agent. It is a thin milky looking liquid which generally smells like elmer's glue. You simply roll it on the ceiling, let it dry, then paint. The same thing is sold near the cement mixes and is call concrete fortifier, it will work too.
