Matt = 1/6 meaning 1 work per 6 hours


let x = time it took for them to finish together


Eq. = (1/4)x + (1/6)x = 1 (1 meaning 1 work)


(6/24)x + (4/24)x = 1


10/24x = 1


10x=24


x = 12/5 or 2 and 2/5 hours
