How much would a professional painter cost to paint the inside of a house?

thanksHow much would a professional painter cost to paint the inside of a house?
Between $200 and $10,000. What kind of shape are the walls in? What colors are the walls, and what colors will they be painted? When is the last time they were painted? How big is your house? One or two story? How much furniture needs to be moved? Where do you live? What kind of paint is the painter using? All of these questions affect the cost of the project. Your best bet is to have several painters give you an estimate. Be sure to compare the bids closely. A painter using Glidden will cost less than one using Benjamin Moore, but you'll get a MUCH better job with Moore. Hope this helps. How much would a professional painter cost to paint the inside of a house?
Hmm, a smart and logical action to take would be to get free estimates from local painting contractors in your area who could provide you information on the cost of painting your house to your desire. Because the cost of labor varies by location, it is wise not to rely on estimates found here on Yah.

Hmm, here is a handyman site that I came across, which has a section dedicated to walls and painting, where you'll find a text-link ad that offers up to four (4) Free Estimates from such local painting contractors in your area (scroll down a bit and it's the text-link towards the middle of the page):

Click on the ';Find Local Painting Services. Get Up to 4 Quotes Free'; text link. Guessing on here is not as productive as getting a quote upon which you can rely. Trust me, from general experience, you'll be glad that you got concrete estimates.
it really depends on a number of factors like what kind of prep work is required, patch holes, different color trim/celings, amount of trim. for a professional maybe around $2 per square footage of your home.

  • How to apply paint on metal?can gloss paint be used for it?

You must first use a metal primer. Then you can put gloss paint over it.

I wish you had said what you are painting. You can use ';Rustoleum';Primer and finish coat for almost anything.I wouldn't use water base paint for metal.9/21How to apply paint on metal?can gloss paint be used for it?
What are you painting? Is it indoor or outdoor? Indoor, you can use eggshell [ sort of satin finish] on radiators, as well as the various gloss paints. Make sure you rub off all loose paint and give a primer coat if the item hasn''t been painted before.

Outdoors, for things like decorative lamp posts, gates, garden furniture, I always find Hammerite paint the best. Again , good prep is essential. If you are painting aluminium garden furniture, you need a special red coloured primer first as ordinary primer doesn't seem to work.

Whatever it is go to you nearest B%26amp;Q/ Home Depot and ask advise, the folk there will give you good advice. How to apply paint on metal?can gloss paint be used for it?
If the metal is already painted, then you paint it the same way and with the same paint as you would for wood. One undercoat and then one gloss.

If the metal is bare then it needs to be primed. If the metal is ferrous (iron based) then you use red oxide primer. If it is non ferrous( galvanaised, aluminium, zinc) then an etching primer is required. Then you paint as you would, wood.
hey there, i'm a painter and decorator.... it would help if you said what kind of metal you are painting! if it is your normal out door railings you can use normal undercoat then gloss, if it is new railings and are galvanised steel you must give them a coat of T-wash either that the paint with flake of in a matter of months! if if is lead you can use hammerite.... one more thing.... make sure all surfaces are rubbed down and all rust is scraped and dusted down well before you apply paint.... gd luck
First clean up the surface and make it rust free, then apply metallic primer, let it dry then go for any enamel of any type of metallic paint. yes you can find many types of glossy paints in market for metal.
yes you can, make sure surface is rust free, you can get gloss paint that tells you on the can wether its for metal or wood,or for both metal and wood.like dulux or hammerite.
Use Hammerite. No primer needed, except on galvanised or aluminium. You can even paint directly onto rust, provided it isn't loose or flaking. Stocked by Halfords, Brewers or any Paint Store.
Yes you can use regular gloss paint on metal although if possible apply with a small foam roller and maybe give it a second coat after.

    How to paint this car?

Can anyone tell from the picture whats went wrong with the paint and how to fix it by myself. My car exactly looks the same.

The clear coat has baked off from the sun. I would buff off whats left of the clear coat and get a couple rattle cans of clear coat n spray itHow to paint this car?
your clear coat part of the paint job has died. That is what you are seeing. The EPA has made it hard for folks at home to do a repaint that uses this process. Look for a MACCO or Earl Schib paint place and consult them.

(Yes I know you are Not in EPA territory, BUT the car makers have adapted the EPA standards so you are stuck with the type of paint they used to paint the car)
The clear coat has peeled off of the car. You would need to sand off the remaining clear coat and then scuff up the paint with a scuff pad then reclear it.
I'd bring it to a shop

Give a blue under coat with a flame over coat

that would come out muh better

If I were to mix paint how would I get the skin color of Captain K'nuckles from Flapjack?

In my art class at school we have to trace a picture and paint with as close to the color as possible. I'm doing the Captain from the Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. However, I just can't quite get his skin color right. I've tried a bunch of blue-green combinations with varied degrees of white and/or black. The results have been close though not quite the color I'm looking for. My teacher said its looking close enough but that's not gonna stop it from bothering me xD

Any ideas? It's like there's a strong hint of green in a tinted blue, but anytime I add a little more green it comes out too green (and taking away too much green makes it not green enough if that makes sense)If I were to mix paint how would I get the skin color of Captain K'nuckles from Flapjack?
you should add gray, blue, and only a little green together.
